The fascia gun is a soft tissue rehabilitation tool, which relaxes the soft tissues of the body through high-frequency impact. The use of the fascia gun must pay attention to the method. The fascia gun should be used along the human muscle texture and fascia direction, not just hit the sore point in muscles. For safety's sake, below precautions should be paid attention to before you use the device.

1. Bone protrusions of upper and lower extremities
On the outside of the knee joint, there is a bulge on the upper end of the calf, called the fibular head. It is surrounded by the common peroneal nerve, which is very superficial. The membrane gun should not touch around the fibular head. In front of the knee joint is the protrusion of the tibial tubercle, which cannot be hit with a fascia gun.
The inner side of the elbow joint is where the ulnar nerve groove passes, and sometimes the forearm is numb when touched. Because the ulnar nerve is very superficial here, it cannot be touched with the fascia gun. The anterolateral side of the shoulder joint, anatomically called the greater tubercle, is where the rotator cuff attaches and cannot be touched with a fascia gun.
2. Around the neck
There are many nerves and blood vessels passing through the side and front of the neck, and the receptors for nerve reflexes are very sensitive and fragile. If the fascia gun is used in these places, the risk is very high.
3. Around the collarbone, underarm, upper arm and popliteal fossa
These places are covered with important nerves and blood vessels such as the brachial plexus and its branches, supraclavicular artery, brachial artery, etc. The popliteal fossa refers to the fossa behind the knee joint, which contains the popliteal artery, nerve, etc., and the location is superficial. The consequences of the injury are very serious, so these positions cannot be directly hit with the fascia gun.
